THE MOTH

By | Blog

I was just in NYC and for the second time saw The Moth. It’s a format for simple story telling and people line up around the block to see it. I’m so impressed that even in this age when entertainment is so ready made and available, people are still allured by the power of a story. It’s like sitting around a camp fire. Anyone visiting NYC or LA, should visit it and even try to tell a story.

ANDREA CABAN DIALECT COACH

By | Blog

When I was in New York, I met a wonderful voice/dialect/movement coach. Andrea Caban. You can contact her at: andreacaban@yahoo.com.

To European actors I thought she would be most helpful as a dialect coach and she actually coaches on Skype. So you don’t have to go to New York to get her services.

She is also a wonderful actress. See her work at: http://www.andreacaban.com/Welcome.html

NEED ACTOR TO PLAY A 25 YEAR OLD RUDOLF NUREYEV

By | Blog

MARGOT

Director :                OTTO BATHURST

Producer:                CELIA DUVAL

Exec Producers:     MICHELE BUCK & DAMIEN TIMMER

Writer:                    AMANDA COE

(Based on the book by Meredith Daneman)

Rehearsals:             W/C 22nd JUNE – LONDON

Filming:                  W/C 29TH JUNE – 3 WEEKS – LONDON

TV Agreement:      PACT

Rudolph Nureyev. A playing age of early 20’s – 25, extraordinarily sexy, vibrant and charismatic. Great physique.Athletic.  It is a substantial acting role and the artist will be required to speak English with a Russian accent . We are considering both screen actors (whom we will mostly body double the ballet sequences but teach  some dance moves ) and Professional Ballet dancers who can act. Obviously a good likeness to the real Rudi would be ideal.

If the potential artists go on You tube there is some great material of Rudi, live interviews, really useful research.

Please send photo, resume and reel (if available) to casting@nancybishopcasting.com. I can send sides for audition which can be sent via internet.

Thanks

NB
